Inter RAO prepares new incentive program for top managers

MOSCOW, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- Russian power holding Inter RAO is preparing an incentive program for the top managers, including payments of bonuses or parts of bonuses in shares, a representative of Inter RAO told PRIME on Tuesday.

“While developing a new strategy of the company, higher capitalization will be maintained as the key strategic vector. Moreover, we will discuss and suggest that the board of directors consider a new incentive program for the top management, including options to pay bonuses to the management or parts of bonuses with shares of the company,” the person said.

“Taking that into account, one could expect a significant increase in the number of shares owned by the top managers of Inter RAO in the future.”

Alexander Maslov, head of the company’s strategy and investment block, told reporters that Inter RAO planned to present a new strategy of the company in the first half of 2020. The current strategy includes plans until 2020.
